Once you've set up your blog, it's time to choose your blog layout. Go to your Blogger dashboard.
Look at the left side of the screen. You should see a list of tabs. Click on the one that says "Layout."
That will take you here to the Layout tab.
(Yours might look a little different depending on what theme you picked.)
In the Layout tab, you can add different features to your blog. See the little icons of pencils? Those are the Edit buttons. Click an Edit button to open a window related to a specific segment of your blog. In the window, you can choose what features you'd like to add or subtract. Here's what pops up when I click the Edit button for Blog Posts:
When you've finished setting up your features the way you like, click "Save" at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Also notice the "Add a Gadget" link on the right side of the Layout page. Click "Add a Gadget" for a list of more features, or gadgets, you can add to your blog, such as post archives, page headers, and link lists. Click the blue plus sign button to add a gadget.
