So you've set up your Blogger account and created your blog. You've chosen a layout and your preferred settings. Now you're ready to create your first post.
Go to the Blogger dashboard and click "New Post."
That will open the Post interface.
For now, there are four parts of the interface you should note.
At the top of the page, you'll notice a text box that says "Post title." Click in the text box and type the title of your post.
Below the title text box, you'll notice a toolbar with various formatting commands.
We'll go over some of these tools in a future post.
When you've finished typing and formatting your post, notice the buttons in the top right corner.
Go to the Blogger dashboard and click "New Post."

1. The Title Text Box
At the top of the page, you'll notice a text box that says "Post title." Click in the text box and type the title of your post.
When you publish the post to the Web, the title will appear above the main body of the post.
2. The Formatting Toolbar
Below the title text box, you'll notice a toolbar with various formatting commands.
We'll go over some of these tools in a future post.
3. The Body Text Box
Notice the white space below the toolbar. This is where you will type the body of your post.4. Publish, Save, Preview, Close
When you've finished typing and formatting your post, notice the buttons in the top right corner.
- Save: This button saves the changes to your post as a draft. If you've saved your post, you can exit Blogger and the post will still be there in your dashboard when you sign in later. Then you can reenter the post and make more changes before publishing.
- Preview: This button opens a tab in your browser with a preview of your post as it will appear once published.
- Publish: This button publishes your post to the Web. Now readers will be able to see the post when they go to your blog homepage.
- Close: This button closes your post and returns you to the All Posts page on the Blogger dashboard.
